Then in 1974 the Sportster gets sold and enter the new 1974 Super Glide road trips. In the fall of 1975, Shovelhead Dave joined the “build what you ride, ride what you build” crowd by building his first rigid-frame chopper and got accepted into the underground Dallas-Fort Worth chopper crowd who rode choppers in the 1960s.
