To remove the clamp assembly, hold the clamp screw and remove it from the force nut to release the sealing cone without damaging the end of the cone. 4. When the adapter on the pipe or fitting is too small to touch the sealing cone, please replace the cone seal with a female seal. 5. To replace the sealing cone, hold the pressure nut and remove it from the set screw until the tapered part is pulled out from the end of the set screw. Insert the required sealing cone into the end of the clamping screw and tighten the screw until the screw is inserted into the bottom of the cone and use a slotless support plate against the end of the cone.
